German Stevie Awards 2018: Five awards for APPSfactory´s apps
Last week, March 8, 2018, five of APPSfactory’s mobile apps were announced as winners of the Stevie Award. The agency received four Gold Stevie Awards in the categories Experimental & Innovation, Travel, News and Vocational Training, and one Silver Stevie Award in the category News.
The German Stevie Awards are the most multifaceted business award in Germany and have taken place for the fourth time since 2015. They form part of the Stevie Awards programs, which are among the most important international business awards. For more than a decade, the Stevie Awards have honored work performance in programs such as the International Business Awards® and the Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service. At the German Stevie Awards, all German companies and organizations can submit their applications.
Throughout Germany, more than 400 applications were accepted in more than 30 categories. Four apps implemented by APPSfactory received the Gold Stevie Award: The lifestyle app Beurer’s CosyNight in the category Experimental & Innovation, the tourism app DB Reisen in the category Travel, the recruiting app for vocational training Bundeswehr Challenge as well as the innovative news app Tagesschau 2.0 in the category News. The Dlf Audiothek App, which APPSfactory implemented on behalf of Deutschlandfunk, was awarded with the Silver Stevie Award.
APPSfactory´s CEO, Dr. Alexander Trommen, said: “Receiving five prestigious German Stevie Awards at our first participation is a great success. The awards in various categories show that our team is able to develop optimal solutions for a wide range of target groups!”.
Around 50 executives evaluated the submissions from all over Germany. On April 27, 2018, the winners will be honored in the framework of a festive award ceremony at the Hotel Adlon in Berlin, where the winner of the Grand Stevie Award will also be determined.
APPSfactory would like to thank all those involved in the award-winning projects for their successful work!
