Appsfactory, in collaboration with Livingdocs, has launched the new digital editorial and publishing infrastructure for oe24 media group. OE24 is one of Austria’s leading digital news portals, reaching more than 30 million monthly visits.
A new editorial core for OE24

For OE24, the objective was not simply to update an existing CMS. Appsfactory and Livingdocs rebuilt the editorial core around the needs of a digital-first news operation.

Migration of more than 800,000 articles
A key part of the transformation was the migration of OE24’s existing content archive. Appsfactory built a custom high-speed importer to migrate more than 800,000 articles into the new infrastructure.
This ensured that valuable editorial content remained available and became part of a modern, scalable publishing ecosystem.
Automation with DAM and AI metadata
The platform also integrates Comyan DAM and iMatrics. Comyan DAM supports more efficient digital asset management, while iMatrics enables AI-driven metadata tagging.
Together, these integrations help enrich content, improve structure and prepare articles for search, recommendation systems and multi-channel distribution.
