Leipzig, 04 June 2024 - Appsfactory, Germany's leading agency group for digital innovation, is continuing its growth trajectory and established a new department for the public sector, public clients and GovTech on the first of June.
"There is enormous growth potential in the public sector and a lot of digitalisation to catch up on," explains Dr Alexander Trommen, CEO of Appsfactory. "We see the opportunity to successfully contribute our expertise as an agency group in this area. Especially as we have been able to gain an absolute expert in this sector with Daniel Geyer," Dr Trommen continues.
Digital innovations for the public sector
Daniel Geyer, an experienced expert with more than 25 years in digital business and agency life, has been recruited to head up the new business unit. Geyer specialises in digital projects and products in the public sector and has worked for renowned institutions such as ARD, ZDF, ORF, Deutsche Bahn and the Scottish Government. With his extensive experience and expertise in the digital environment, Geyer is ideally equipped to drive innovative solutions and strategic developments that support public institutions on their journey into the digital future.
In his new role, Geyer will play a central role in the digital transformation of the public sector. "I am delighted to be taking on this challenge at one of Germany's leading digital agencies. Together, we want to drive forward the digital transformation in the public sector and put absolute focus on this important task in the coming months and years," says Geyer.
Expanding the portfolio
The agency will continue to sharpen its focus with an existing client base that includes the Saxony police force, the German armed forces, the Berlin city cleaning service (BSR) and the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport.
