Munich, 17.04.23 - Appsfactory is offering an innovative solution for the automotive industry with a new application developed for Volkswagen Group Retail Deutschland. The company has developed an app and dashboard/CMS solution that makes the annual vehicle inventory more efficient for all parties involved. The solution is already in use and has been praised by many users who have benefited from its time-saving functions. Volkswagen Group Retail Deutschland, with its 28 operational companies nationwide, has requested the software and has already conducted the inventory in November and December 2022 with it.
The new app developed by Appsfactory allows users to scan vehicle identification numbers (VINs) or work with a desired inventory count. They can also supplement photos of the vehicles and mark their location in the app. Thus, the app not only simplifies the inventory process but also increases the accuracy of data entry by eliminating manual input errors. The dashboard/CMS solution offers optimal preparation of all data for inventory evaluation and organization. It also enables the preparation and export of all data relevant to third parties, such as auditors. The dashboard enables a comprehensive planning structure tailored to the requirements of Volkswagen Group Retail Deutschland with its eight brands.

Prior to implementing this solution, the manual inventory process was still carried out using pen and paper. Today, only a smartphone is required. The app and dashboard/CMS solution have significantly accelerated the process, saved time, and improved the overall experience for all users collecting and analyzing data.
