The tagesschau.de App 3.0 was awarded in the Communication discipline, Apps & Software category. The iF DESIGN AWARD is presented annually by the world's oldest independent design institution, the iF International Forum Design GmbH.
The tagesschau.de App, now in version 3.2, has been a pioneer in delivering media content to users. With a design that has always focused on modern UX/UI, the app has consistently received high ratings in the app stores and secured a spot in the top list of store download charts. In addition to its design, the app has also stood out with innovations in other areas, such as AI-assisted conversion of image content into vertical videos and automated content generation. With a rating of 4.5 stars out of 81,800 reviews on Google Play Store and 4.6 stars out of 107,000 ratings on the Apple App Store, it is clear that this approach has been fully embraced by users.
